Why we love it
AWS (Amazon Web Services) is our cloud-hosting provider when a project outgrows standard hosting — custom backends, headless Shopify setups or data-intensive applications. The convincing part is the breadth: over 200 services from compute to databases to serverless that grow with you rather than being rebuilt. Decisive for the DACH market is the Frankfurt cloud region (eu-central-1) for GDPR-compliant data storage. For applications that need real scale and building-block variety, AWS is our choice — for a simple marketing site it would be overengineered, and we say so too.
