The project
LOFTSTYLE runs two loft-style hotels, in Hanover and in Gerlingen near Stuttgart. The previous website ran on WordPress with the Uncode theme; the English pages came from the WPML plugin.
We moved all 138 pages, in German and English, under the same addresses. A test compares the text of every new page word for word with the old one. Only the privacy policy is rewritten, because the stack is a different one.
So that links from search engines and old bookmarks keep working, we built a complete 301 map: old pages, short links, images and documents. Every old URL reaches its target with exactly one redirect. The crawl check covered 1,721 URLs, with 0 errors. The guest folder behind the QR codes in the rooms stays at its printed address.
Guests book through a booking bar of its own, in the hotels’ design, with no third-party script on the page. Gerlingen books via Best Western, with deep links following the BWH guideline. Hanover books via onepagebooking. Both carry the travel dates and guests over.
We call the design “warehouse signage”: the site reads like the signs in a converted warehouse. First you pick the hotel, then you find your way around it. Booking is always one click away and the only yellow surface.
The new website is finished on our staging server. It goes live with the domain move, served from Frankfurt am Main.

Scope in detail
WordPress → APOLLOBASE CMS
All content moved from WordPress into sections the hotel edits itself in the visual editor.
Two hotels, two languages
The homepage picks the hotel; each hotel has its own menu and footer. The language switch leads to the real English counterpart.
301 map and crawl check
Every old URL reaches its target with exactly one redirect. 1,721 URLs checked, 0 errors.
A booking bar of its own
Best Western in Gerlingen with deep links per the BWH guideline, onepagebooking in Hanover. No third-party script on the page.
Meeting rooms compared
A room board lists size, dimensions and seating of every meeting room side by side, straight from the room pages.
Hosting in Frankfurt
Served from a data centre in Frankfurt am Main. Enquiries only go to the mailboxes of the hotel in question.
