A small, well-crafted project from Switzerland: the website of B&S Immobilien Helvetia GmbH in Stein am Rhein ran on WordPress – now it runs on a modern Next.js stack, with its own CMS, client portal integration and newhome.ch listings.

The project

B&S Immobilien manages, sells and lets properties in Stein am Rhein and the surrounding area and is a member of SVIT, the Swiss real estate association. The previous website ran on WordPress.

We migrated the website to a modern Next.js stack. Going forward, the client maintains content themselves: through the APOLLOBASE CMS with its visual editor, connected to our client portal.

The property page embeds the client's listings via the newhome.ch widget – maintained in one place only. And instead of stock photos, the site shows the client's real imagery from Stein am Rhein.

Before go-live, the new website ran behind password-protected staging; a host-based gate made sure the real site would only be served once the domain moved. The privacy policy was rewritten under the revised Swiss data protection act (revDSG) and is with the client for review. Launch: 29 July 2026 on www.bunds-immobilien.ch.

WordPress → Next.js

Migration of the complete WordPress website to a modern Next.js stack – the same architecture this site runs on.

APOLLOBASE CMS

Our own CMS with a visual editor: the client maintains their content themselves, connected to the APOLLOBASE client portal.

newhome.ch integration

The newhome.ch listings appear directly on the property page via the embedded widget – one place to maintain, no duplicate work.

Real imagery

The site shows the client's real photography from Stein am Rhein instead of interchangeable stock photos.

Staging & go-live gate

Password-protected staging before launch; a host-based gate only released the real site once the domain moved.

Privacy under revDSG

The privacy policy was rewritten under the revised Swiss data protection act – handed over to the client for review.
