Some owners focus on growing their profits, while others are obsessed with sales goals. Have you ever considered making it your primary goal to set up your business so that it can thrive and grow without you? A business not dependent on its owner is the ultimate asset to own. It allows you complete control over your time so that you can choose the projects you get involved in and the vacations you take. When it comes to getting out, a business independent of its owner is worth a lot more than an owner-dependent company.  Make it easy and repeatable. Automation does not need to be concealed to be effective. A complicated system requires more resources and is exposed to breaking.  Have a nuclear team, plus ninja jobbers. Automation means building the most effective team around you. By outsourcing specific tasks to jobbers, you lowered costs. And since you’re not their only profit source, they don't pull things out.  Create both a sales cycle and business cycle. A sales cycle starts when a customer gives interest and ends when they purchase. With a business cycle, your market and drive people toward your goods or service you need a business cycle that gets constant eyeballs on your company.  Implement AI and machine learning. It’s now possible to transform your business metrics into data points and then turn those data subjects over to an artificial intelligence engine that optimizes many attributes like price and digital marketing spend. Getting close to artificial intelligence and machine learning is important.  Be patient, with a human touch. Except your new business is an app, most companies expect personal attention and a “human touch” to start. A new business can’t be automated out of the box. Be calm. Take the time to make sure your business is working smoothly, and keep producing a personal, human touch as you grow. Over time, figure a way to automate just those areas of your business that won’t affect the customer getting excellent service.
